1. What is Food Morning?

Food Morning is an online coupon site leveraging the concept of "Collective Buying" to bring unbelievable dining deals with discounts at over 50% off for you. Each deal requires a minimum quota to be reached (the minimum number of people registering their interest) within the specified period of time in order for everyone to receive the amazing discount. 3. Why can Food Morning offer so much discounts to members?

Based on the idea of "Collective Buying", businesses are happy to offer massive discounts knowing they'll acquire a certain amount of new customers which they wouldn't through normal means of advertising, and potentially turning them into recurring ones.

 

4. Do I have to gather a group of people to sign up to get the deal?

No. However, to ensure everyone receives the amazing discount, we encourage you to "spread the word" by telling your friends and family about the deal. You can do this simply by clicking our Facebook or Twitter buttons on the site. Remember, you only receive the amazing discount if the quota is reached! No one gets the deal if there is not enough people registeing their interest!

 

5. When is a deal ON?

Every deal requires a minimum number people to register their interest (the quota) in order for everyone to receive the discount. When a deal is first listed, it is in a PENDING state until enough people have registered their interest (by clicking the Buy Now button). When the quota is reached, the deal is said to be ON and everyone receives the discount. A deal is SOLD OUT when the maximum number of deals allowed to be purchased is reached. When a deal is SOLD OUT, no additional deals can be purchased, so be quick!

 

6. What happens if the quota is not reached at the end of the specified period?

If a deal requires 100 people to register their interest to buy in order for it to be ON, and this quota is not reached within the specified period, the deal is said to be OFF and no one is charged. Unfortunately, no one will be able to receive the discount and the next awesome deal will be shown. Therefore, we encourage you to "spead the word" about the awesome deals on offer by simply clicking the Facebook or Twitter buttons on the site, or just tell your friends about them to ensure this quote is always reached.

 

7. When is my credit card charged?

Your credit card is only charged when the deal expires if and only if the number of people registering their interest to buy exceeds the quota. E.g., the number of people who has expressed their interest to purchase the deal is more than the minimum number required set by the restaurant owner.

 

8. Is there any time limit to grab those amazing Deals?

Yes. Usually a deal only lasts for 24 hours so purchase and spread the word to your friends before it finishes!

 

9. I want to purchase a deal, what should I do?

Just click the BUY NOW button next to the deal you wish to purchase and you'll be taken to a form to enter your credit card details. Note that your credit card will NOT be charged at this stage. When the deal expires, if enough people has registered their interest to purchase the deal, your credit card will then be charged, and Food Morning will send you an email with instructions on how to collect and redeem your coupons.

 

10. How do I know if the current deal is ON?

On the Today's Deal you should see some information about the number of people who has already purchased the deal, the minimum number of purchases required for the deal to be ON, and the time left to purchase etc. If a deal is not yet ON, you should see an indicator showing that a deal is PENDING. When a deal is ON, you should see a message "Today's deal is ON" clearly on the page.

 

11. What if I do not receive any email notifications when the deal is finished?

It usually takes 1-3 days to process the coupons after the deal has finished. This is required as we need to notify the restaurant so they can be well prepared for the new customers like yourself. You should receive an email notification when your coupons become available on your "My Coupons" page. If you still haven't received any email notifications after this period, please check the spam folder in your email account. Or you can simply log onto your Food Morning's account and go to the My Coupons section to check if your coupons are ready to be collected there. 12. When can I start using the coupons?

Please check the valid date stated clearly on the coupons. Usually you can start using the coupons between 24 to 72 hours from the date purchased.

 

13. Can I buy the coupons as a gift voucher for someone else?

Yes! Of course you can! We want to make the process as simple as possible so you can just purchase the coupons, print them out and send to your friends. Anyone with a valid coupon in hand can enjoy the amazing discount!
However, a small number of businesses may require that the coupons be only redeemable by the person stated on them. Although we don't foresee this as a usual case, we will clearly state this if this is required.

 

14. How do I collect my coupons after purchasing them?

When a deal ends, and if the quota (minimum number of people registering their interest to buy the deal) is reached, then everyone's credit card will be charged and an email sent to each customer notifying them that the deal was successful together with instructions on how to collect the coupons. You can then collect your coupons by logging into foodmorning.com.au and going to the My Coupons page. You should see the new coupons purchased ready for you to print and redeem. Please note that the coupons may not appear in your account immediately and usually it takes between 24 to 72 hours to complete the process.

 

Please don't forget to make a booking and mention your coupon number before you go and enjoy your meal.

 

15. Can I use the same coupon for more than one visit?

No. Each coupon can be used for one visit only. Your coupon will be collected at the restaurant when presented.

 

16. Can I buy more than one coupon for a particular deal?

Sure, you can buy more than one for your personal use or even share with your mates. However, some restaurants might set a maximum number of coupons allowed to be purchased per customer, but this will be stated clearly on the website. You can purchase up to this limit.

 

17. Can I use my coupon together with another special offer from the same restaurant?

Usually not, unless the restaurant agrees to do so.

 

18. How secure is Food Morning?

Food Morning generally will not offer refund or substitute for another coupon unless:
1. The information on the coupon is incorrect or misleading;
2. The restaurant you redeem or claim from is closed down or bankrupted. In this case, we'll ensure you get your money back.
